Narita Gateway Hotel, Narita

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the rooms were clean and spacious, the furniture looked quite old and had a faint smell of smoke. On the bright side, the Japanese/Western breakfast buffet was plentiful. The service was excellent, with staff going out of their way to assist with check-in and offering valuable information about the area. The location was super convenient for those catching early flights from Narita airport, but the dining options were somewhat limited, even though the food was decent. I found the facilities satisfactory overall.

The hotel is very convenient for travelers catching morning flights from Narita Airport. The rooms, although smoky, are reasonably spacious for Japan. However, the uncomfortable rock-hard beds made sleeping difficult and left us with sore backs. The service was nice and helpful, offering free umbrellas and luggage storage. The location near the airport was perfect for our needs, eliminating the need to wake up too early for our flight.
